If you are planning to buy a mobile, then this is the right time because on the occasion of NEW YEAR 2017, NEPAL BUSINESS MOBILE ORGANIZATION has organized “NEW ROAD MOBILE MAHOTSAV”.  The exhibition is started from 14th of Poush to 19th of Poush with a slogan “‘जहाँ मोबाइल बजार त्यहीँ मोबाइल महोत्सव’.

Mobile Expo 2016 has been drawing a large number of visitors every day, as huge discounts offered by different vendors are luring droves of cell phone enthusiasts.

Up for grabs at the exhibition are a wide range of gifts and huge discounts. Also, mobile sets of Huawei, Gionee, Samsung, Sony, Lava, Colors, Nokia, DTC ,CG,NCELL and Microsoft are on display at the expo being held at NEWROAD.

As per the organiser, buyers can get up to 70 percent discount on these mobile phones. Customers are also provided a number of gifts like power banks, mobile sets, selfie sticks and Bluetooth speakers.

What’s more, lucky winners can take home Royal Enfield Bullet, Vespa scooter and cash prize of Rs100,000.

The organiser said the demand for cell phones from DTC—a Singapore-based brand—and Chinese brands like Huawei and Gionee is high. “These mobile sets are slim, handy and come with advanced functions,” Basnet said. “They come at reasonable prices as well.”

Bar phones from DTC, which also function as power banks, are among the major attractions at the expo. Two DTC variants—Gear Classic and Gear Max—come with 5,000 and 6,800mAh batteries, respectively. The prices start from Rs3,000.

Huawei’s GR5 and GR5 Mini and Gionee’s S6s and P5 Mini are other crowd pullers. These phones cost from Rs8,000 Rs72,000.

Matrika Lamsal, an attendant at the Huawei stall, reported encouraging sales. “There is an increasing demand for Huawei mobile sets priced between Rs20,000 and Rs25,000,” she said.

Visitors were also seen thronging the stall of Lava, which is offering mobile sets with scratch-resistant screen. Birendra Khadka, an official at Ambe Group, the authorised distributor of Lava, said the Iris 870 and Iris 820 are among the fast-selling products. The mobile phones cost Rs5,500-Rs19,990.

As per the organiser, customers can get a one-year warranty on all the phones put on display at the exhibition. Basnet said they would also provide their customers with after-sales service and exchange facility throughout the year.

Besides, the visitors can also enjoy musical programmes and mobile game competition being organised at the exhibition.
